Ranfurly House Arts & Visitor Centre

Situated in Dungannon and located at the top of Market Square is Hill of The O’Neill and the newly refurbished Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre.All visitors are invited to come and discover how Dungannon was once at the centre of world affairs. Learn about the history of the O’Neills, the Flight of the Earls and the Plantation of Ulster through an interactive exhibition on permanent display in Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre. Take a stroll on the Hill of the O’Neill and take in the spectacular views from the newly landscaped gardens and pathways of this historical location. View the remains of the towers that belonged to the Knox Hannyngton House on the site which once stood the Castle of Hugh O’Neill.


The Craic Theatre & Arts Centre

The CRAIC Arts Centre, Coalisland, is a fully dedicated community arts facility in the Borough of Dungannon and South Tyrone. The aim of the centre is to provide the opportunity for people from all backgrounds to access the arts in as broad a range as possible. Craic promotes drama, dance, music, training, outreach, crafts and skills etc. Promoting professional drama with companies from all over Ireland and further afield. Through schools, youth groups and the ongoing CRAIC programme of activities, in excess of 600 children access the CRAIC Arts Centre every week. Strule Arts Centre

Strule Arts Centre is situated in the heart of Omagh, County Tyrone. Situated at the bottom of a small orchard beside the Old Ballygawley Roundabout. Offering visitors family hospitality, fabulous shopping and good food. Their range of products includes Irish pottery from some of the leading potters, Nick Moss, Eden, Brixton, to name but a few. They have a wide range of other products, including Irish Knit designer sweaters for ladies and gents and lots of designer Jewellery. Here you can see the complete range of Troll beads, childrens books, and what they believe is the widest range of traditional wooden toys in Ireland. The tea room is a lovely spot to enjoy their delicious home made food, soups, sandwiches, toasties, panini or wraps, all made to order. All cakes, traybakes, pies and scones are made on the premises. Choose from a range of scones – the most popular at the moment are Raspberry and Hot Cinnamon Scones.


Island Turf Craft, Gift Shop & Visitor Centre

Step back in time in the bog museum with a treasure house of exhibits which reveal the history of Ireland before and after the Ice Age. Also now available creative bog art for groups and individuals, create your own work of art using 5,000 year old turf which is then framed so you can take home your own piece of Ireland. Whilst waiting for your artwork to be framed you will be shown a visual presentation on turf cutting and you will receive your framed work of art on leaving. Families, groups and education visits welcome. Visit our new Coalisland industrial heritage museum and learn about the weaving history of the region, group tours available on request.
