Flexible Booking Policy
Whilst we hope that your travel plans will not be disrupted as a result of Covid-19, we will continue to offer flexible cancellation terms. Cancellations are free outside of 72 hours prior to 12noon on the day of arrival. Bookings cancelled with 72 hours of arrival or non arrivals will be charged for the first night accommodation charge of the entire booking. Group Bookings of more than 4 rooms are required to give 3 weeks cancellation notice. Our dedicated Housekeeping team will build upon the already high standards of housekeeping and hygiene. New standards include the introduction of room seals to indicate that your guest room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned. Rooms will no longer be serviced if you are staying 2 nights or more. We ask that you place your rubbish bag from your bin outside along with the bag provided for used towels before 10am daily. Please only leave towels out that you wish to have replaced in line with our eco-friendly policy. If you do require your room to be cleaned, please request this before 10am and note that we will need at least one hour to disinfect your room again.
A thorough and extensive cleaning and sanitising program is in place for all guest bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas in preparation for your arrival. Social distancing signage and hand sanitiser stations will be in place throughout all public areas. There will be additional deep cleaning of high touch surfaces. Hand sanitisers will be visible and plentiful throughout the hotel. We promote regular hand-washing by displaying signage in customer and employee toilets and common areas encouraging good handwashing practice with soap and water. We would ask where possible guests do not use the elevator. If you require the lift do not share with anyone outside your family group.
Check In / Out
Our friendly professional Reception Team remains on hand to assist with any queries. Updated procedures include reduced contact at check-in, contactless transactions, front desk screens, sanitiser stations, sanitised key-cards and paperless check-out. Guests can pay by credit / debit card and cash. All card terminals will be sanitised regularly. Alternatively guests can pre-pay by telephone prior to arrival or departure. We can offer an email receipt for your stay upon request. Key cards will be disinfected before and after each use. Upon arrival, all guests will be required to complete a temperature check. Guests with a temperature of over 38 will be denied entry to the hotel.
Check-in time is from 3.00pm, Check out is by 11.00am on the morning of departure. Early check-in is unavailable at this time due to enhanced cleaning.
Advanced booking is advised. This allows us to manage the volume of guests and team members within any one area, to ensure social distancing guidelines are adhered to.
Dining will incorporate social distancing between each table, we ask you to remain seated and to adhere to physical distance between you and other guests and our team as much as possible. Children will have to remain seated with parents / guardians at all times and cannot be in any part of the hotel unaccompanied at any time.
Our bar areas will provide table service only. Our table layouts will comply with social distancing, creating a safe environment for our team members and guests.
Guests can now access hotel information for menus and general information online. Our Reservations Team will be in contact with you to pre-book your dining times.
Our Full Irish Breakfast & Continental breakfast is served in the Carleton Restaurant from 7.00am until 10.00am. Breakfast is available before 7am on request, please inform a member of the reception team on arrival if you would like to avail of an early breakfast.
The Thermal Areas in the Spa will need to be pre-booked in advance of your stay, at an additional charge of £10 Per Person for an hours use. Full Priced Spa Treatments will receive 60 minutes Complimentary Access to the Thermal Suite. The Thermal Area will be restricted to a maximum of 8 guests at any one time, in line with government guidance.
On arrival to the reception all members must now sign in on the sign in form provided. Please ask a member of our staff if you are unsure of your new membership expiry date. Use of the gym will not have to be pre-booked. We would kindly ask all members using the gym to arrive in their appropriate gym clothing as changing and showering facilities for gym users will be limited. Please bring your own towel for use in the gym and all equipment/machines must be sanitised before and after use. Members wishing to use the thermal suite will now have to book an allocated time slot. Any member not on our booking system unfortunately will not be granted access to our thermal suite. Please contact the spa reception to book an allocated time. Allocations will be 60 minutes use of the thermal suite, including hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and heated lounger. Members that have booked a time slot to use the thermal suite will have access to our changing facilities and be provided with a robe, towel and slippers.
The gym and thermal area will be open Monday – Friday 9am – 9pm, Saturday- Sunday 9am – 7pm
We ask that any customers experiencing flu-like symptoms or sickness to please postpone their visit to a later date. We would also ask that any customers that may have visited countries affected by Covid-19 or have been in contact with a confirmed case, please postpone their visit.
